Suggested Use
Best if consumed daily with a meal. Take 1 – 2 mini capsules per day. Do not take more than 6 capsules per day.
Storage
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration is not necessary. Keep out of reach of children. Product may be refrigerated or frozen for long-term storage.

Hi Gene – the Ultra Strength Omega-3 is in the Triglyceride form. The Omega-7 is in triglyceride form as well.

Wondering how many IUs of Vitamin D (and what type–D2, D3, etc.) are in each capsule of the Ultra Strength, and the Triple Strength. Thanks! Jenn
Hi Jenn – neither the Ultra Strength Omega-3 nor the Triple Strength Omega-3 have any Vitamin D2 or D3 in them. We strongly believe that Vitamin D (in the D3 form) should be supplemented separately. D2 form is very poorly absorbed and should not be consumed. The amount of D3 you supplement every day depends on the time of the year, how much sun exposure you get, and your blood level of D3. Everyone needs a unique daily dose of D that needs to be determined by your doctor after a blood test. Most people do well with around 4000 IU per day – less in summer/fall and more in winter/spring. Omega-3 products that also contain D3 almost always contain way too little. Since everyone’s D3 needs change from season to season and person to person, we have not added any Vitamin D3 to our products. - InnovixLabs Customer Service

Can you tell me if these omega three’s leave a fish taste or make you burp up a fish taste? Lisa
Hi Lisa – this product is enteric coated to prevent or reduce burping and fishy taste. The frosty coating on the outside is the plant-derived enteric coating. If you, however, take the pill with an antacid or heartburn medication, the enteric coating may not work as well. Hi. Can I puncture these pills and mainline the oil? I don’t mind fish taste, but if this decreases absorption I will just swallow the pill. Thanks. Joe
Hi Joe – we do not recommend puncturing the pills for three reasons: 1) it is difficult to do without squirting the oil, sometimes pretty far and it is hard to see where it was squirted…and it will make your house smell after the oil that’s exposed begins to go rancid.
2) you lose the benefits of encapsulation and enteric coating
3) it is hard to get all the oil out of the capsules, so you get less than each pill contains. Taking the oil in liquid form will not change absorption. - InnovixLabs Customer Service -
I was about to order more of the Omega-3 fish oils and noticed that the fish source has changed from wild caught Alaskan Pollock to Anchovy, Sardine and Mackerel from Chile and Peru . Why was this changed and is this wild caught or farmed ? Thanks for your reply. Jennifer
Hi Jennifer – the formula change occurred because we were not pleased with the quality of ultra-high potency oils made from pollock this year. The Anchovy/sardine/mackarel oil we were able source was cleaner and purer. Knowing that we had a better alternative, the choice was easy…after all, most of us who work at InnovixLabs take this product and give to family and friends. All fish oils are from wild caught fish. This is because the quality of oil from farmed fish would be poor and there simply isn’t enough farmed fish that contain much Omega-3. - InnovixLabs Customer Service

Yes, you're right. This product is not available on iHerb.com - it is available only on our website and on Amazon.com (US).
Unlike Amazon, iHerb has staff who decide which product they sell and which they don't. According to iHerb, they carry the Triple Strength Omega-3 from InnovixLabs and they feel that is adequate.

I see the label states no soy protein, but does this product contain soy?
Hi Jeannine,
The Tocopherol (Vitamin E) antioxidant (natural preservative to prevent oil rancidity) that is mixed into the Omega-3 in trace amount is made from soy oil, as is the case with 99% of fish oil supplements.
The 'No soy protein' claim is to alert those allergic to soy protiens...as allergies are caused by soy proteins. This Tocopherol does not cause an allergic reaction because it does not contain soy proteins. Hope this helps.
